CULTURAL SUPPORT  - "DE VERDADE”

Grumont Equipamentos is giving cultural support to brazilian artists, believing on their potential. On September 11, 2010, the play "DE VERDADE", with the brazilian artist João Paulo Lorenzon, will be on at Cidade Jardim Shopping Center, mall which was built by us.

BARRETOS 2010 - Rodeo 

Grumont Equipment is once again participating in the biggest event of the main rodeo in Brazil, reinforcing the brand Grumont provides the solution to your customer, like the year of 2007, during the event the towers will hoist an LED panel of about 10 tons, which will be positioned exactly in the center of the arena, and will serve as a screen for replays, videos and merchandising from the event. This project is developed 100% by the Group Grumont.

One more crane of Grumont, owned and manufactured in Sao Paulo city

Grumont built the second crane which is Grumont owned and made, the first 100% Brazilian project. The first crane built is already working on the second site of Setin Construtora, at Raposo Tavares – SP.

Rio Tocatins’ Bridge (Final Stage)

The bridge should be finished by the end of 2008, of which construction began during 2007. The bridge is going to link Maranhao State and Tocantins’ through the cities Imperatriz – MA and Bela Vista – TO. To ensure efficient operation, two cranes were operating in rotating shifts. This prevented any construction downtime. Done by Constran S/A.

Grumont began the fabrication of one more crane, 100% Brazilian.

The crane is on its first month of fabrication and has to be built by November 2008.

Senai’s partnership

Grumont completes one more training to “S.F.C” this year, and had the presence of Camargo Correa, Skanska/Petrobras companies. More then 1000 professionals were training in our company.

Sabará Hospital

A crane was assembled by Grumont group on the top of a building at Sabará Hospital at Angélica Avenue, at a height of 70 meters. The retrofit was done at the hospital in all metal structure. Another solution for building in São Paulo with participation of Grumont.

Crane’s Book

Written by Walter Antonio Scigliano, the 2nd edition of the book was a success. After its launch and great demand, was introduced on the markets with a few more updates. For being an unique book in Brazil, Latin America and Europe, the 2nd edition is running out, the success achieved Europe by a master degree student thesis in Portugal. Technology

Grumont has the very best technology for cranes. After developing the unique anemometer, patented in Brazil, especially for cranes, is now developing the PLC for cranes and electric panels with the latest technology for its equipments.

Brazil and China

As everyone knows, China is the largest producer and user of steel in the world, there are more than 250 crane’s factories, however not all offering the quality and safety we seek. Grumont built a solid partnership in recent years with the company QLCM of Sichuan’s province, after some years of studies; feasibility and certification in all universal quality procedures, today we have totally “tropicalised” equipments ready to meet with the security and speed of the Brazilian market. All electronic equipments are designed and manufactured in Brazil by Grumont, using the best devices and variables speed drives on the market produced by a technical team consisting of Electrical Engineers and Electricians technology. In 2009 we sold large equipment for WTorre’s company, which they will use them to build a large-scale public housing project called “minha casa minha vida”, from the actual government. In September, we had another visit to China, where was celebrated the renewal of the exclusivity agreement and representation for all from Latin America.

Feicon – Batimat 2009

It was held in March, at Anhembi in São Paulo, and Grumont Group participated and posted on of our partners, OUTINORD. French company manufacturer of steel forms used in advanced construction. It was exposed a mini-crane based on the original one, with a scale 1:10 produced by Montgru, one of Grumont Group affiliate.

Rochaverá Corporate Towers

The second phase of the construction Rochaverá in São Paulo, began with Método Engenharia company. This construction is one of the most beautiful ever implemented in Brazil, following the contemporary architectural style. It is a work built within the standards of sustainmability and has the Green Building Certificate.

Concrete Buckets

Produced by Montgru, the new models of buckets to hold concrete are used on the majority construction’s sites on the big cities. All models are low heighs which are very easy to manage and to put the concrete in. They are also built over roller wheels that makes easier its transportation.

Recycling Lecture for Crane’s Operators

One more lecture was held at Grumont for workers on March. Lecture based on the need of continuous improvement in the work of operating cranes, and focused to be 100% safe. Recycling meetings are a tradition at Grumont. Also, we have physiotherapist and doctors, making sections of stretching and massage, for all of our employees to help on their well being.

Grumont – QLCM partnership

One more crane was built at Grumont with the partnership from the Chinese company QLCM which is the producer of this crane. With this partnership, starts more fabrication of a few models here in Brazil.

Bauna 2008 – China

Grumont went to Bauna- Shangai-China, in late November 2008 with partnership QLCM. Constant visits of our representatives and adjustments of Chinese equipment for the European project needs in Brazil. Cranes already in operation in Brazil.

Cabins for Crane’s Operation

Grumont invested in special cabins with toilet and sink, now they also have air conditioner, similar to those used in trucks. Always thinking about the wellbeing of the employee, Grumont today produces the best cabins and exclusive control in the cranes on the markets.

Senai / Grumont

The year of 2009 and 2010 already begins with training. The course taught at Grumont is now a high level training for technical / mooring load, and improvement of crane operators. For beginners it becomes a professional course, where 99% of cases the student leaves with a guaranteed job.

Vila Olímpia Shopping

Construction of Vila Olímpia Shopping continues in full swing. Was set up in January 2009 one more crane at Grumont to accelerate the work. One shopping in São Paulo being built with cranes from Grumont, in the heart of Vila Olímpia, construction of Racional Engenharia company.

Grumont Cranes

2009 was a year for most promising segment of the Grumont Group. The crane of 70 tons was the attraction of the end of the year’ celebration, of the company between our employees in December 2008.

Montgru Tower Cranes

The year of 2009 already had one more crane of Grumont Group built in São Paulo city; the cranes are produced by Montgru, one of the companies from the group, which produces today the most efficient cranes on the Brazilian market.
